You can say All Lives Matter, but it doesn't address the lives that need the most attention in the United States at the moment.Īfter all just because an animal gets put on an endangered species list, that doesn't mean other animals are fodder. After all, "poor racial attitudes towards blacks" is ingrained into them thanks to the society they were born into. Heck, people actively fight against these facts when brought up. All of these are things that exist in the United States, yet no one talks about them. Poor racial attitudes/biases towards blacks, impoverished neighborhoods/redlining, the NON-EXISTENT address of the broken psyche of generations of people subjected to chattel slavery by the government and their communities, not paying reparations/rightful inheritance to the descendants of the people forcefully enslaved that had generations work their entire lives for nothing. There have been attempts to create equity in American society, but often these attempts are too shallow in order to breach the divide that exists. In American society, blacks are socially and economically disadvantaged on average which manifests in new and unprecedented atrocities throughout it (See George Floyd). Im not a historian nor do I engage with social affairs like this but I'll try to get you to understand.
